Military postcards post 1945
Written by admin on 19 November, 2009 – 7:02 am -Military postcards post 1945 are very much of a different hue to those from during and before the Second World War. Of course we still see postcards detailing current wars, so there's the Falklands War etc, but these later postcards take on the nature of commemorating previous wars and battles, of showcasing uniforms and regiments and hardware. As you might expect there are also a good number of postcards detailing the pomp and circumstance of the British Army in their ceremonial role.
