Postcard Collecting – Deltiology
Written by admin on 19 December, 2008 – 7:25 am -Here's how David Gregory started collecting: Postcard collecting, or deltiology, just seems to have happened to him, creeping up without his even realising it was happening. Following his father's death, he found an old postcard of the “Queen Elizabeth”. His parents had crossed the Atlantic to New York on the ship in the late 60's and it had been marked to show where their cabin was. So David kept it, added some others and eventually put them in an old photograph album, and Bob's yer Uncle, a deltiologist was born.
